Privacy Policy
CreativeTechSolutions builds apps that ask for as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — for this website and for every app we publish on the App Store.
Contents
1 · Who we are
CreativeTechSolutions ("CreativeTechSolutions", "we", "us") is an app development studio based in Los Angeles, California, USA. We are the data controller for information handled through this website and through the apps we publish under our own developer account.
When we build an app for a client that is published under the client's developer account, that client is the controller of its users' data and their own privacy policy governs the app. This policy covers our own products and this website.
2 · Information we collect on this website
We keep this deliberately small:
- What you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. The form on this site opens your own mail application — it does not transmit your message to a third-party server on our behalf.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested page, and timestamp — to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We set no advertising cookies and run no cross-site tracking or advertising pixels on this website.
3 · Information in our apps
Each app we publish has its own App Privacy label on its App Store product page, and an in-app privacy notice where the app collects anything at all. Those disclosures are specific and authoritative for that app. Our standing principles are:
- On device by default. Where a feature can work without leaving your device, we build it that way.
- No data brokering. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
- No tracking across apps. We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Optional diagnostics. Crash and performance reports, where enabled, are used only to fix defects and are collected in a form we cannot tie to your identity.
- Your content is yours. If an app syncs your content, it syncs through your own iCloud account or an account you create, and you can delete it.
If a specific app needs something more — location, contacts, photos, health data, or a payment relationship — it will ask you at the moment it is needed, explain why, and work as well as it can if you decline.
4 · How we use information
- To reply to you and to carry out work you have asked us to do.
- To operate, secure, and debug our website and our apps.
- To process payments and keep business records, including as required by tax and accounting law.
- To meet legal obligations and to enforce our terms.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
5 · When we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that host our site, deliver our email, process payments, or report crashes — each acting on our instructions and limited to what they need.
- Apple. App Store purchases, subscriptions, and TestFlight participation are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We receive only aggregate sales and diagnostic reporting.
- Legal requirements. Where we are legally required to disclose information, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer. If the studio is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy continues to apply until superseded.
6 · How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept while a project is live and for a reasonable period after, so we can support work we have shipped. Server logs are kept short term. Business and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. Anything we no longer need is deleted or anonymized.
7 · Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@creativetechsolutions.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows and will not discriminate against you for asking.
You can also delete an app's local data by deleting the app, and you can revoke any permission you granted at any time in iOS Settings.
8 · California privacy rights
We are based in California and we extend these rights to all of our users. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents may request to know what personal information we have collected, request its deletion, request correction of inaccurate information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise any of the rights above by emailing privacy@creativetechsolutions.com. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
9 · Children's privacy
Our website and our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. An app intended for children will say so on its App Store page and will follow Apple's Kids Category rules and applicable children's privacy law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 · Security
We use encryption in transit, keep access to production systems limited to the people who need it, and prefer not to collect data we do not need — which is the most effective protection available. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and regulators as required if a breach occurs.
11 · Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice on this website or in the affected app before the change takes effect.
